There is no universal patina.
A European sports car from the 1960s should not age like an American automobile from the 1950s.
A vintage race car should tell a different story from an elegant Grand Tourer. And a car that appears to have spent decades beneath the California sun requires a completely different surface from a vehicle supposedly discovered inside an old European barn.
